TEXAS WINTER GIGS

Hey folks!

Been overdue to update the website. Had a lot goin on through December with the holidays and travel plans. Since my last update, there’s been a new weekly party started in LA in conjunction with my folks in SF for the LA edition of Motown On Mondays. MOM LA goes down every Monday at The Short Stop in Echo Park.

But now for the main matter of business… I’ve been sepnding some time in Texas. Did a couple gigs already in San Antonio with the homie gig as well as New Years Eve in Austin. Got a few more gigs out this way in Houston and Austin before heading back home to LA. For anybody in the area that wants to meet up at one of the gigs, reach out! Here’s my rundown of gigs:

Thanks to everybody that made it out last month to enjoy the sounds of Jeremy Sole (KCRW/Afro Funke) and DJ Evo (Vancouver,BC). They both laid it down with a solid array of selections. We’d like to take a moment to say thanks to all of our loyal supporters over the time we’ve been in effect, it really wouldn’t be possible without all of you. Each month has been a wonderful experience and last month was no exception. We’ve been goin at this for 2 years solid now! So this month we’d like to celebrate our 2 year anniversary with a very special edition of Escapism… we’re welcoming the legendary producer/emcee Large Professor (Main Source) all the way from Queens, NY! This one is not to be missed!!!! Some other special friends and family will also be joining us in the mix as well. Sure to be one for the books! LOW END THEORY!!!

This week I’ll be making my return to The Low End Theory, here in Los Angeles. It’s been several years since I last played there and they have  grown… scratch that… blown up tremendously since I was there in 2007. This party has become the staple of the LA beat scene and one of the most progressive nights in Los Angeles. I’m honored that I’ll also be sharing the stage alongside my good friends The Bangerz from the Bay Area (peep em at thebangerz.com). I’ll also be getting down alongside Daddy Kev, Nobody, and the legendary DJ D-Styles . Unfortunately Gaslamp Killer is out of town, killen folks in Europe. Sure to be a great night. Other special guests include Busdriver and Dibiase!
